Abah is a recognised thought leader in the global agribusiness sector and has financial markets experience spanning a quarter century covering commodities, trade flows and African fundamentals in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The former global head of agri research at Standard Chartered Bank, Abah has provided advisory services on commodity markets to some of the largest agribusiness names and institutional clients including hedge funds and central banks. Abah has previously worked in private equity and agricultural consulting, guiding physical and prop commodity traders and research teams. He is the go-to person for corporate clients, as well as the financial and business media, on key commodity questions and was profiled in the UK’s Financial Times at the height of the 2009 commodity crisis. Abah is a graduate of the London School of Economics and has been a member of the United Kingdom Society of Business Economists as well as a Financial Advisor licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
